  • Gluten-free self-raising flour (100g)
  • Cocoa powder (45g)
  • Caster sugar (110g)
  • Butter or cooking margarine (110g)
  • Two eggs
  • Vanilla extract or essence (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Icing sugar (280g)
  • Butter (140g) (for the icing)
  • Melted chocolate (75g) (for the icing)
  • Water or milk (1-2 tablespoon) (for the icing)

How to Prepare:

Preheat the oven for up to 180 degree Celsius. In a huge mixing bowl, start melting the butter or the cooking margarine until it becomes soft but not runny then mix in the caster sugar. Add the eggs, cocoa powder, flour and mix them well, then add the vanilla extract or vanilla essence. Pour the mixture evenly into a 20cm round greased and lined cake tins.

Now, place it in the oven for 25 minutes and wait until the cakes risen and the color becomes slightly golden. To know if they are ready, insert a skewer into the middle of the cake, and if it comes out clean, it only means that the cake is ready. Let the cake completely cool.

To make the icing on the cake, beat together the melted chocolate, butter, and the icing sugar. Slowly stir it all in three teaspoons of boiling milk or water. Don’t forget to be careful not to make the icing too runny. After this, spread the chocolate icing over the top of the cake, then carefully place the other cake on top.   • Butter (75g)
  • Soft cheese (200g)
  • Double cream (150ml)
  • Caster sugar (50g)
  • One lemon juice

How to Prepare:

Start the procedure by placing the biscuits in a plastic bag and start crushing them into crumbs. Then, melt the butter in a pan over low heat.   • Icing sugar (280g) (for the icing)
  • Butter (140g) (for the icing)
  • Milk or water (2 tablespoon( (for the icing)

How to Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius. Then, melt the cooking margarine or butter until soft but remember not to make it too runny. Mix in the caster sugar. Add the eggs, flour and mix them well, then add the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture consistently into two greased and lined cake tins. Now, place it in the oven for 25 minutes until the cakes have risen and the color is slightly golden.

To know if the cakes are ready, insert a skewer in the middle of the cake – if the skewer comes out clean, then it means that the cakes are ready. Let the cake cool, then spread the conserve over the top of one of the cakes. In making the icing, beat together the butter and the icing sugar, then slowly stir them in three teaspoons of boiling milk or water. You have to be cautious not to make the icing too runny.   • Baking soda (1 teaspoon)
  • Sea salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Three eggs
  • Whole milk (1 cup)
  • Vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
  • Gluten-free pure vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)
  • Hot coffee (1 cup)

For the frosting

  • Pinch of salt
  • Cup of butter
  • Cocoa powder (3/4 cup)
  • Powdered sugar (3 cups) sifted
  • Whole milk (1/3 cup)
  • Gluten-free pure vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)

How to Prepare:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease the two 8-inch cake pans with the gluten-free cooking spray then set it aside. Now, combine the sugar, xanthan, flour, baking powder, cocoa, salt and baking soda in a huge mixing bowl. Whisk them all to combine. Add the vanilla, oil, milk, and eggs and beat them until smooth. Whisk in as well the hot coffee.
