This avoids you and the other parents having to spend the entire time worrying about swimming accidents, and it means someone trained in water safety will be nearby. Mike, you take me back down memory lane, when I used to organise birthday parties for my now 17 year old son. Aside of some 3 sleepovers, the best parties he had (and I am sure he would agree with me, for a change!) were his last one, a swimming party in one of our local pools, and one of his first ones in a ball pool themed on pirates.
I agree, it is nice to give kids controlled activities, that will keep them occupied whilst giving them plenty of fun. I think it’s the best formula for both children and parents alike.
